Since the rise of the internet, electronic crimes have become a daily occurrence and caused billions of dollars in losses to individuals and organizations. In 2005, our small group of cybersecurity professionals formed Packet Ninjas to help companies counter the rising specter of cyberthreats with in-depth application security and forensic response.

Our goal was to provide intensive consulting and assurance to clients in identifying high-risk technical issues versus compliance-driven security. Over the years, we have excelled at this work by delivering comprehensive reviews and strategic advice that fortifies enterprise cybersecurity against real-world attack tactics.

Packet Ninjas has identified complex vulnerabilities in networks and applications, provided key analysis on zero-day attacks, conducted patch analysis and intrusion detection signature creation and has been closely involved in many multi-year insider and corporate espionage investigations. Our guiding ethos of “To be, rather than to appear” secure, by way of technical expertise, has spawned international growth and recognition and attracted clients from Fortune 50 corporations, premier law enforcement organizations and nation-states on six continents.

Along the way, we invented digital tools to investigate online crimes, and this led to the founding of our sister product company, ShadowDragon. We also created an umbrella holding company, Odonata, to purchase cybersecurity entities pursuing related missions.

Today, Packet Ninjas remains Odonata’s cybersecurity services arm, providing customized research, consulting, testing and in-depth security assessment offerings to companies around the world. To ensure we provide the best possible context our customer’s security strategy, we continually expand our knowledge of the expansive and often complex connections between code, data, humans and exploitation of trust.
